Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump meet for dinner at Mar-a-Lago

"Uma nova era para a inovação americana?"
It seems so! Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Meta, was seen having dinner with President-elect Donald Trump on Wednesday (26), in Mar-a-Lago. Did the two leave the differences aside? Zuckerberg in politics: friend or enemy? Meta's spokesman, Andy Stone, told The Verge:
"It's an important moment for the future of American innovation. Mark was grateful for the invitation and the opportunity to talk to the new government team."
Although the details of the dinner remain secret, the meeting suggests that Trump may be changing his mind about Zuckerberg. It is worth remembering that Trump has already stated that Meta's CEO should be arrested for Facebook's role in the 2020 elections and his donations to postal voting initiatives. On the other hand, Zuckerberg tries to keep his distance from politics in 2024, but did not fail to praise Trump for surviving an assassination attempt, calling it "one of the most badass things I've ever seen in my life". 🤯 National interest or personal strategy? Despite publicly congratulating Trump on the victory in the 2024 elections, Zuckerberg seems to be playing his cards with caution. He has already stated that he is "eager to collaborate with the new administration" in a post on Threads. Trump's strategist Jason Miller told Fox News:
"Mark has his interests, his company and his schedule. But he made it clear that he wants to support the national renewal of America under Trump's leadership."
Now we want to know: what do you think of this unexpected meeting? Political game or strategy for the future of technology in the US? Leave your opinion in the comments! 🐝
