Sylvester Stallone Is Back in the City for Tulsa King Season 3 — And He’s Serving Mob Boss Realness

Spotted: Sylvester Stallone, cigar in hand and suit crisp as ever, filming scenes for Tulsa King Season 3 in New York City’s Little Italy.
On April 16, the Rocky legend was seen outside the iconic Mulberry Street Bar and Restaurant, suited up in a gray double-breasted look, red tie, and sunglasses — classic Stallone swagger. He was joined by co-stars Chris Caldovino and Mike Walden as cameras rolled for the next season of the hit Paramount+ series.
And if that backdrop looks familiar? It’s because Mulberry Street Bar is a certified mob movie landmark. Scenes from The Sopranos, Donnie Brasco, The Pope of Greenwich Village, and more have all been filmed there. So yeah, Stallone is in good gangster company.

From Tulsa to NYC: What’s Up with Season 3?
After holding it down in Oklahoma for two seasons, it looks like Dwight “The General” Manfredi is heading back to his roots. While plot details are still hush-hush, Stallone’s character being back in NYC suggests some serious business is about to go down.
Season 2 saw Manfredi and his Tulsa crew navigating dangerous rivalries and fresh enemies. Now, with Season 3 in production and filming in his hometown, we’re dying to know: What brings the General back to the Big Apple?

“Thankful to Be Shooting in NYC…” – Stallone
Stallone seemed genuinely hyped to be back on familiar ground. He posted a behind-the-scenes photo on Instagram with the caption:
“Thankful to be shooting a scene of TULSA KING in NYC today…”
Born in Hell’s Kitchen, raised partly in Maryland and Philly, and famously returning to NYC to chase his acting dreams — Stallone filming in the city feels full-circle in the best way.
